The Psagot Playgrounds Waldo Tunnel is a cable climbing tunnel built from three galvanized steel arches connected by a rope net. It creates a simple crawling and climbing course sized for ages 2-5. Fall height is only 2 feet 6 inches, so it is right in the zone for toddlers and preschoolers. Holds 8 kids. Safety zone is about. ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certified.
BEST FOR: Toddler and preschool play areas that need a first climbing challenge. If you have 2-5 year olds who are ready to move beyond ground-level play but are not ready for a full climber, the Waldo Tunnel is a good transitional piece. It also works well as an add-on element in a larger playground.
The Waldo Tunnel is straightforward — three arches, a rope net, and a crawling course that gives toddlers their first real climbing experience. I like it because it builds confidence. A 2-year-old can crawl through the tunnel, and a 5-year-old can climb over the top of the arches. Same structure, different challenge levels as kids grow.
