Playground Equipment Double Station Tai Chi Hand Swing

This deceptively simple exercise station provides a basic introduction to the art of Tai Chi which anyone can participate in regardless of prior experience. The large disks have a high-traction surface, which allows the user to rotate them with the palms of their hands.
These circular hand motions represent the flowing movements of Tai Chi, and by adding a weighted resistance component, its effects can be felt even more profoundly. This meditative act is intended to calm both the mind and body. The station has two pairs of disks, allowing two people to use it at once.
One person can even act as the ‘leader’ while the other person imitates their movements, just like in an actual Tai Chi class. This is an ideal way to warm up important muscles and get into the right mindset before a workout, or to relax and unwind afterwards.
